Never knew effort

•February 17, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I never realized until now how much effort it really does take to get a blog up and running. Getting pictures up and recounting the days as the went by with enough color as to make their nostalgia interesting to the reader is a difficult challenge.
I can’t seem to bring myself to know how to write 500 interesting words. I try with a few, I try with many and it all seems flat. That’s the problem with learning something new, or doing something different in general, your not always good at it at first. The prospect of becoming better seems way too far in the distant future. I’m sure though this will change for me, after all I’m special, and after all I really want to achieve it enough to work on it over time. That’s the glorious thing about being human, if you continue to work away at something eventually it will turn out close to correct. All I just have to do is figure out what I want to say. The flat melody of my writing can’t stop me from writing!

For anyone who happens to stumble onto this page I have to make a clarification. This site is only in it’s second official day. how astounding that this site has only existed for several hours and already has visitors, This my first blog and I am surprised at how quickly life appears.

I Think the best way too keep track of the building project is to keep an eye of all the tutorials and tools I’m using to implement and establish design.

So far links to follow:

Float Tutorial
It has been a while since I did any codeing. This was a simply easy to follow blog to get some basics.
alphainventions.com
Some how my site was added and instantly visitors appeared!
greypear
Just my FAV new location for inspiration. I have to have a constant stream of images to stimulate ideas and gather colors. This is a must see!

Learning CS3 to help improve my design is not as challenging as I originally planned it to be. I suppose it’s the fact that if you can follow directs and have ANY artistic skill you can eventually replicate your ideas. I just continue to practice with as many tutorials as I can, you learn something different each time.

Tutorials For Illustrator :

BioRust.com Illustrator intro

Did I mention in my about page I was attempting to learn Illustrator? I already have previous knowledge of photoshop so after the first few introductions to the tools and their uses it’s getting much simpler to achieve navigate.

Any helpful tutorial links would be awesome! I’m off to search for the mythical Google result that will give me my clarity. I know I can’t be the ONLY one left not fully versed in the skill of blogging. Now to embarking on taking this composite of old code and rebuilding it in my vision.

Unfortunately or rather fortunately it isn’t my fault and gas gone by in a rather unchallenging brisk pace.  After finding Weheartit my life will never be the same again.  That site’s like gobbling candy.

I can’t sleep till I finish working.  I’m in the zone here ( ugh I can’t beleive I actually typed that)  finnally fixing my blog and I can’t leave it till I get some sort of completion.  Well see what happens in the morning.

What a strange language

Have you ever noticed how web design can be such a daunting thing. I can stare at this WordPress page for an hour and still not know what makes it up. I try to take it apart and it falls apart. A little intimidating but I have to do it. My beautiful design has to shine through and this is simply not completing it. I find it less interesting to write on a boring screen. I defiantly need more white. This is after all a fresh contemporary blog isn’t it?
What would happen if I continued without much hope for content and prattled on without aim while the background remained grey. You guessed it.
